1.  This will take place over a 3 week window. We saw a lot of people making points that maybe 2 weeks just wasn’t quite enough to put out quality work. We want to give modders the time to work on their projects as much as possible while still keeping it interesting. We are considering giving even more time in the future but that is still being ironed out.

2.  We request that all project files be submitted to us by the deadline and we will host them on our own GDrive. The only reason we want to do this is so that modders don’t feel cheated if someone is making last minute edits while the voting period is going on. We aren’t trying to step on any toes, but we are trying to keep things fair for anyone entering.

 

special arrangements with reputable names may be allowed with permission.  this will be used so the creator download link will auto update when car is updated after polls close.

3.  There will be a countdown on the DCBO website so that all of the modders have a clear indicator on when their files are due. We know that we are getting entries from all over the world and this can make deadlines pretty confusing with the different time-zones. We don’t want to discourage any late entries but it should be understood that if you don’t make the deadline, your name won’t be on the polls. If you want your car to be seen by the community, we will happily throw up pictures and links to your work so that people can see how you did. We will also include these entries on our testing servers so that everyone can drive with them. I promise that this isn’t to throw shade at anyone in the first build off. Again, we knew that one was fast and loose and we are working on organizing this to be more structured going forward.

4.  For the sake of organization and to avoid confusion, we request that all participants submit their cars with a specific naming template.  If a car is submitted without this following this template, they will not be disqualified but we will have someone go into your files and fix this.  I assume no one wants outside hands editing their work so please take care of this prior to submitting your entries.

5.  Participants must submit whatever car is provided.  Heavy visual modifications are allowed but if you submit a different car than what is being used in the build off, it will not be considered a valid submission.

 

 

 

6.   Anyone can feel free to join and there is absolutely NO cost to enter.  Prizes will be awarded to the winner after the polls close.  The voting polls will happen over a 1 week period

 

7. " if your car does not work in online lobbies before submission, we will not be allowing modders to continue working on them after the submission deadline.  Please test your cars in online lobbies before submitting to make sure they wont cause any errors during the voting phase.  If you need help with this, reach out to the community or even directly to us and we will see what we can do."
